Our Story

Over seven decades of building faith, friendships, and memories

Our Mission

β€œTo provide a Christ-centered camp experience that strengthens faith, builds character, and creates lasting memories for young people in a safe and beautiful natural setting.”

A Rich History

From humble beginnings to a thriving ministry serving hundreds of families each year.

Florida Bible Camp was born in 1948 out of a shared vision among members of the Churches of Christ across Florida β€” a vision for a place where young people could step away from the busyness of everyday life and draw closer to God through His Word and His creation.

A group of faithful Christians pooled their resources and their prayers to secure 200 acres of beautiful, wooded land near the Santa Fe River in High Springs, Florida. The property, with its towering oaks, winding trails, and proximity to the crystal-clear springs that make northern Florida so special, seemed like a gift from God Himself.

The camp was officially chartered in 1954, establishing it as a permanent ministry dedicated to the spiritual development of young people. In those early years, campers slept under the stars, gathered around campfires for Bible lessons, and explored the natural wonders of the Florida landscape.

Over the decades, the facilities have grown and modernized β€” from the first simple shelters to today's 11 air-conditioned cabins, spacious dining hall, full-size swimming pool, and modern recreation facilities. But the heart of the camp has never changed: to bring young people closer to Christ through fellowship, study, and the beauty of God's creation.
